Switzerland

Off to Zurich Switzerland!
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland, with a population of some 364,500 in the city proper and close to 1 million in the agglomeration area. Zurich is on Lake Zurich, where the lake meets the Limmat River, in the north of Switzerland.

Joey at the beautiful Waterfront

And me soaking up the geogious weather and beautiful view.

Joey taking some photo's at the waterfront

As we toured the city we ran accross lots of entertainment.  One that we stopped to enjoy was a band.  They would play a song and walk to another location and play another song.
The old guy with the base drum was hilarious.  As they walked to their next location he would periodically bang his drum and startle those walking near him.  He and his fellow drummer were histerical when he scared someone so bad she screamed of fright.  It was great to watch him as he continued doing it all the way to the next location.  It reminded me of my father.  He would have done the same thing.

Joey found this building to be quite unique and had to snap a photo.  He said, "It looks like to perky boobs with nipples pointing to heaven.  Again... sounds like something Dad would say lol.
(sorry if I offended anybody but I found it quite funny)

Next on our list that day was the Rhine Falls.

The falls are located on the High Rhine between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen, near the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich. They are 150 m (450 ft) wide and 23 m (75 ft) high. In the winter months, the average water flow is 250 m³/s, while in the summer, the average water flow is 700 m³/s. The highest flow ever measured was 1,250 m³/s in 1965; and the lowest, 95 m³/s in 1921.

This hill was steeper in real life and as we passed many people huffing and puffing on their way back up we new we had a workout ahead of us.

Needless to say we made it back up.  Joey took the flat path the constantly inclined and I took the stairs.  His way was faster.

Next on our list......
I put in a request for Paris, France for my birthday.  I'm crossing my fingers Joey will grant my birthday wish:)
