Christmas 2010

This year we spent Christmas Eve with some good friends.

We left the dining room and came back to find Kayleena propped up on the table munching away some more!

Santa left a letter for the kids this year personally sign by Mr Bah Humbug Jolly Saint Nick himself ;)

Tristen was everyones alarm clock Christmas morming.  He wanted to be sure everyone new that he came!

We always have to have a "funny" present.  This year Tristen was the lucky guy.  We couldn't just wrap his gift in its original packaging.....it would've been way too obvious. 

So we wrapped it in a bin...

And wrapped it again...

And layered it in grocery sacks...

Viola!  And his #1 requested gift he finally found.  Why does he insist on "cool" faces for the camera? He really was excited!

Presents are unwrapped, kids are peacefully playing, except for Kayleena......

I’m so thankful that I get to do this touchy feely stuff. There’s nothing like Christmas time-the older I get, the faster they come.

This holiday season I celebrate life! Not just the human life but the life of eternal families. The birth of Christ has brought about many miracles in my life and my family is one that I treasure. My marriage is a significant part of who I am. May we all learn to treasure the miracle of marriage and eternal families and give ourselves to the Lord in our pursuit to create and maintain a Christ-centered life through our relationships with our family members and loved-ones. It is only through Christ I am able to turn my struggles into miracles. For that I am eternally grateful.--Amanda

I like Jesus because He was so nice when he was on the earth. And if He didn’t die for us we wouldn’t be able to go to heaven. I know Jesus loves all of us and He knows what we are doing. It’s kinda hard to not do the wrong thing but Jesus and Heavenly Father can help us make the right choice. I love my family so much and I know I will live with them forever.--Tristen

I know He lives. I love Jesus and He loves me. Jesus helps us choose the right. He was dead for three days and then came back to life. I am thankful for Jesus because He helps us choose the right. I’m thankful for my body. I’m thankful for my family and my friends and teachers.--Tanaya

What a wonderful year it has been!  Alot of change and excitement with alot of growing and strengthening.  We have been blessed!
